He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Eleanor Lauer, Sr. (Gray). He is survived by: his wife Marlene Pinkert; his children, Michael (Alison Craig), Denny (Marnie) and Melissa (Billy Hagberg); his grandchildren, Bailee Lauer (Shawn Davis), Keegan Lauer, Maya Craig-Lauer and Caleb Craig-Lauer; his great grandchild Clark Lauer-Davis; his sister Lori Hager (Joe); and his aunt Carmen Seymour.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested for the Alzheimer's Association.
