He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Boehnlein and Mary Boehnlein (Wysocki); his wife Elaine; and his sisters, Georgeann Wiegand (Jim), Genevieve Rougeux (Vernon) and Rose Kramarczyk (Ray).
He is survived by: his children, Lori Smith (Kurt) and Todd Boehnlein (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Conover (Spencer), Anna and Griff Boehnlein; and his siblings, Jim Boehnlein (Joan) and Betty Zimmer.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to benefit cats in need throughout the area.
