He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Rymer and Mae Rymer (Lauritzen); and his sister Dianne Jones. He is survived by: his wife Sharon "Shari" Janssen; his children, Tim Rymer (Tracey) and Tracey Steffen (Erik); his grandchildren, Morgan Rymer (Victor), Claire Steffen, Jensen Rymer and Ethan Steffen; his brother Larry Rymer (Carol); and his aunt Mona Wisthoff (Dean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
