He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigmund Akstulewicz and Ruth Akstulewicz (Lipinski); his parents-in-law, Mary and Bruno Hallman; and his brother Lee Akstulewicz.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Hollis; his children, Lori and James (Sandra); his grandsons, Kevin (Shelby Bream), Ryan and Connor; his brother John Akstulewicz; his sister-in-law Mary Ann Nozar; and his nephews, Jeff Nozar and Jim Nozar.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established to construct a remembrance at a local neighborhood park and to support Jim's favorite charity.
