He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank David Votava and Elsie Marie Eisenhamer; his wife Katy; his daughter Ann Kathryn; his son-in-law Tim Kelley; and his brother Frank Votava.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Votava and Amy Votava (David Hemphill); his grandchildren, Colby (Amber), Seth (Chelsey), Parker, Evi, Carter Votava, Olivia, Iris Hemphill, Patrick James Myatt and Mary Kathryn Kelley; his great grandchildren, Cassie, Callie and Cammie Votava; and his brother Robert Votava of Wisconsin Rapids.
