He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Bishop and Rose Bishop (Shierl). He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Christine Bishop (Kendall Baumann) and David Bishop (Lydia Casso); his stepchildren, Kenneth Schuette (Brenda) and Sue Standish (Rick); and his sister-in-law Carol Mitchell. He is also survived by 3 grandsons, 2 step grandsons and 3 step granddaughters, 4 great-grandsons, 1 great-granddaughter, 7 step great-grandsons, and 5 step great-granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
