He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Madsen and Grace Madsen; his wife Mary Madsen; and his siblings, Roland Madsen (Eileen), Carl Madsen (Lucille), Gladys Funk (Lloyd), Erma Zinn (Werner), Ellen Burgess (James) and Leone Barden (Charles).
He is survived by: his children, Virginia "Ginnie" Hintz (George) of Neenah, WI, Judy Madsen (David Zuckerman) of Door County, WI and David Madsen (Lori) of Gold Canyon, AZ; and his grandchildren, Debbie Nast (Jim) of Whitewater, WI, Cindy Lancaster (Mark) of Neenah, WI, Paul Hintz (Rachel) of Neenah, WI, Dick Hintz (Lisa) of Neenah, WI, Bob Hintz (Debbie) of Appleton, WI, Mike Madsen (Margie) of Fremont, WI, Todd Madsen, Kathy Guckenberg (Tim) of Ellison Bay, WI, Laurie Falluca of Grafton, WI, Chris Hansen of Milwaukee, WI and Lynn Carini (Gino) of Fox Point, WI. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
