He is survived by: his wife Kathie Meukow (Asmus); his daughter Christine Meukow; his grandsons, Devin and Cameron Meukow; his sister Carla Reidenbach (David); his nieces and nephews, Amy Van Zeeland (Matt) and Kelsey Reidenbach; his sister Christa Mirwaldt; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Pikolin (Reto), Uta Krueger (Mirwaldt) and Harold Asmus Jr. (Dottie); his children, Karen Mann (Tim), Beth Carlyle (Kevin), Leo Asmus and John Asmus (Brenda); his brother-in-law Gerald Asmus; his nieces and nephews, Kimberly Vergin (Joe), Kaylin Asmus and Marsha Asmus; his great-nieces, Jennifer Sprecher (Chuck), Lisa Rauls (Tom), Rebecca Brown (Reid) and Amanda Friou; his great-nephew Benjamin Friou (Krystal); his brother-in-law Robert Asmus (Lori); and his nephews, Jason Asmus (Larissa) and Andrew Asmus (Jessi).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 2nd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Westgor Funeral Home (1140 Appleton Rd, Menasha, WI 54952).
