He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Remter and Esther Remter (Luebke); his son Rick Remter; his brothers, Gordon Jr. and Donald Remter (Gladys); and his brother-in-law Don Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Geraldine Cowling (Dan), Tina Beschta (Allen), Patti Kettner (Sonny) and Jeremy Remter; his sister Judy Schmidt; and his sister-in-law Donna Remter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
