He is survived by: his children, Kalen Hicks (Stephen) and Kenneth E. Holmes; his siblings, Gary Mattek (DeDe), Paul Mattek, Gayle Engelbrecht (Doug), Mark Mattek (Jamie), Grace Mattek, Ruth Schmelzer and Jon Mattek (LeAnn); his brothers-in-law, George Hansel and Allen Smith; his stepdaughter Shelly Birling (Dean); his stepgrandchildren, Derek, Samantha (Jacob), Sydney (Isaac) and Madelyn (Carter); his girlfriend Linda Pedersen; his partner's children, Wendy Krueger (Bob) and Patrick Pedersen (Dianne); and also, Amanda Hundt (Devon), Brenna Krueger (Dakota), Emmery and Leo Hundt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
