It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene E. Eake of Neenah, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Eake and Linda Eake (Mueller); his wife Joan R Eake (Thompson); and his grandson Cory Eake. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Narten (Rick), Laura Hoeper (Dan), Doug Eake (Lupe), Lisa Meetz (Mike) and Terri Eake (Sonia); and his grandchildren, Alex Quandt, Becky Quandt-Wasurick, Ryan Hoeper (Jenny), Matt Hoeper, Renee Berger (Brad), Yadira Rein (Bill), Andrea Eake, Levi Meetz and Amos Meetz. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters; and many other relatives and friends.

“Wanda and I just learned of the passing of our friend Gene. We were next door neighbors for the last 30 years before just moving to northern Wisconsin this past November, and couldn’t have been blessed more to have such wonderful people such as Gene and Joan right next door. The family of Gene and Joan were always out visiting and helping their parents and Gene and Joan spoke with great pride and love of their son, daughters and grandchildren. Love to you all. R.I.P. Gene, the Hase’s”
