She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Schanke and Lydia Schanke (Erdman); her husband James McAloon; her son Jeffrey Lee; and her grandson Justin.
She is survived by: her children, Rod Peterman (Tina) of Arbor Vitae, WI, Renee Monti (John), Kathy McAloon and James McAloon II (Jennifer); and her brother Donald Schanke (Joan). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial fund has been established for Fox Valley Humane Society.
