He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Chartre and Beaulah Chartre (Cappaert); and his brother Raymond Chartre. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Rowe (Tony) of San Diego, Jennifer Powledge (Tom) of Los Angeles and Douglas J. Chartre (Kathya) of Chicago; his stepdaughter Andrea McComas of Appleton; his sister Judith Pietsch (Jon) of Denmark, WI.; and his grandchildren, Kate, Reid, Jack, Cruz and Aidan.
