She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Whiteaker and Ruth Whiteaker (Dierker); her children, Cathy Grosskopf and Dave Brendemihl; her great grandchild Chris Howard; and her siblings, Gene and Irmalee.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Brendemihl; her children, Edwin (Marie), Lois Slowatyniec (Mike) and Donna Matowitz (Pete); and her sister Elsie Bisping (Neil). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
