She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas; her son Dan; her granddaughter Delanie; her parents, George Smits and Martha Smits (Vander Heiden); her siblings, George Jr., Henry, Robert, Jerome, Richard, Ken, Bert Kaczmierczak and Marie Albers; her siblings-in-law, George Allcox, Don Baeten, Tom Kaczmierczak, Sam Albers, Cliff Hannon, Francis Derouin, Mary Lou, Phyllis, Ruth Smits, Mary Ann Derouin, Florence Hannon, Helen Allcox and Charlotte Verheyen; and also Donald.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Julie Allcox; her grandsons, Pete (Cindy), Tom (Rose), Ken (Sandy), Dick (Cathy), Kevin (Lori) and Mike (Amy); her siblings, Mary Jane Van Remortal (Don) and Clayton Smits (Rose); and her sisters-in-law, Joan, Barbara, Sally Smits, Sue Allcox and Lee Verheyen. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 23 Great grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Gabriel Catholic Church (900 Geiger St, Neenah, WI 54956). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
