He is survived by: his wife Eileen Johnson; his daughter Linda Buckli; his grandchildren, Nikole Moody and Tyler Moody; his daughter Sue Tews (Randy); his grandchildren, Ethan and Alaina; his son Joe Schmidt (Sarah); his grandchildren, Katelyn, Mason and Finley; his son Jared Schmidt (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Lydia, Clara and Miles; and his brothers, Edward Schmidt (Carol) and Jerry Schmidt (Pat).
