He is survived by: his spouse Romona Benes; his children, Lisa Pundsack (Douglas Jr.), Anita Lynn Erickson and Don Jr. Erickson (Samantha Becker); his grandchildren, Ryan (Brittany), Ricky Kendall (Mitch), Amber, Sean, Holli, Samantha, Donny III, Kyler, Keigen, Kaileah and Karter; his great grandchildren, Amiyah, David, Sammy Cayden and Wallace; and his siblings, Janet Andrews, David Erickson (Fabby) and Robert Erickson (Marge). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
