He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Howard and Hazel Howard (Olsen); his close friend Amund Nygard; his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Mary Mayer; his brother-in-law Richard Mayer; and his godson Gregory Mayer.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Piper; his friend Brewer (Packer); his wife Marcie Howard (Mayer); his children, Ryan Howard (Samantha), Kathryn Howard (KT) and Adam Howard (Kelsey); his siblings-in-law, Florence Mayer, Harold Mayer (Lois) and Joe Mayer Sr. (Mary); his nephew David Mayer (Paula, family: Steven Mayer, Mark Mayer, Michael Mayer); his goddaughter Christine Lynch (Ryan); and his niece Jennifer Cook (Ryan). He is also survived by family; and many loving cousins and dear friends.
