He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Spang and June Spang (Moran); his siblings, Peter, Steven, Kendall, Ronald, David and Connie Hobbs; his father-in-law John Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, Pam Nelson, Thomas Hibbard and John Whitney.
He is survived by: his wife Kim; his children, Lizz Cieslewicz (Brad), Daniel Spang Jr. (Kipp Nielson), Eric Kofnetka (Shae) and Whitney Nelson; his granddaughter Cieslewicz; his siblings, Carol Spang, Patricia Whitney, Judy Spang, Cheryl Hibbard, Theresa Spang, Kevin Spang, Mary Smith (Mark) and Barry Spang (Craig Spang); his mother-in-law Caroline Nelson; and also, Tom Nelson (Michelle) and Tim Nelson (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kessler Fahrenkrug Funeral Home (304 S Commercial St, Neenah, WI 54956). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
