She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Diedrich and Eva Diedrich (Mahoney); her husband Bill Russell; her stepfather Nick Diedrich; her sisters, Harriet Tews (Ray), Betty Weyenberg (Jerry), Gwen Cox and Athonais; and her parents-in-law, William, Helen Russell, Tom Russell (Emily), Edna Mellenthin (Ed), Lillian Reinhardt (Douglas), Helen Stommel (Paul), Margaret Krautkramer (Peter), Dorothy Koepke (Norman), Mandy, Kate and Dot.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Elmer (Dick), Laurie Russell (Karl Engling), Patty Amundson (Steve) and Jenny Toeppler (Kurt); her grandchildren, Sherri Matheny (Michelle Davey), Chris Ross (Kathy Parsons), Heather Bottine (Tim), Holly Ferris (Gavin), Michelle Marg (Cody), Bill Toeppler (Rylee Petit) and Natalie Toeppler; her stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Alvarez (Mike) and Ashley Amundson (Tom Ehlinger); and her stepsister Mary Jane Yager. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, a great-great grandson.
