He was predeceased by: his parents, Marrie Karnopp (Hanson) and Frederick Karnopp; and his sister Germaine. He is survived by: his wife Karen Bernhagen; his children, Traci Bowick (Rob) of Simpsonvillle, SC and Kevin of Neenah; his grandchildren, Haley and Andrew Bowick; his brother-in-law Ron Bernhagen (Barbara); his friends, Kristen, Brent Schulz, Sandy and Dan Vander Linden; and his caregiver Cliff. He is also survived by family; and many cousins.
He kept doing things he liked even when Parkinson's slowed him down.
