He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Matthew Smith; his parent-in-law Thomas Verbrick; his brother James Lotzer; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Lotzer and Bill McGough; and also, Florence Verbrick, Linda Siebert (Randy), Nancy Palmer (Vern), Margaret Jahnke (Jack), Thomas (Millie), Robert and Donald Verbrick (Barbara).
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his daughter Jennifer; his siblings, Gerald Lotzer, Edward Lotzer (Donnalyn), Robert Lotzer, John Lotzer, Marianne Stiller, Vicki Smith (Jim), Meg McGough and Nettie Burnett (Dave); and his sisters-in-law, Patty Lotzer and Shirley Verbrick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
