She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricia Carlson (Kaufman) and LeRoy Carlson; her children, Scott Gutjahr, Misty Gutjahr and Richard Gutjahr; her brothers, David Carlson and Scott Carlson; and also, Robert and Doris Gutjahr.

She is survived by: her former husband Robert "Chicky" Gutjahr Sr.; her children, Robert Gutjahr Jr., Travis Gutjahr and Sarah Acker; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Zeeman, Xavier Gutjahr, Bailey Gutjahr, Quinton Gutjahr, Zoey Gutjahr and Aiden Gutjahr; her siblings, Keith Carlson (Debra), Lori Carlson-Stang and Terry Carlson (Stacey); and also, Anita Van Ornum (Alan), Joe Crum (Mary), Theresa Serrano (John) and Gary Gutjahr (Lisa). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
