She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb Kruse and Verna Kruse; and her husband Dick Shimek. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Shimek (Connie) of Londonderry, NH and Mark Shimek of Neenah, WI.; her sister Barb Wilde (Tom); and her siblings-in-law, Donald Luckstein (Rebecca) and Linda Peters (Fritz). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
