He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sim, III and Rose Sim (Zuhse); and his brother-in-law John Doerfler. He is survived by: his wife Debra "Dee" Sim; his children, Courtney Bartlett (Nathan), Brandon Sim and Grant Sim (Jill); his grandchildren, Cole, Callan, Izabella and Autumn; and his siblings, Bonnie Doerfler, George Sim (Geraldine) and Candace Danielson (Craig). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
