He was predeceased by: his parents, Friedrich Schneider and Elda Schneider (Uecker); his siblings, Ruth Schneider and Roger Schneider; his brothers-in-law, Willard Hansen and Curtis Strehlow; and his nephew Steven Schneider.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Scheer; his children, Jeffrey of Rhinelander, Susette Crober (Steven) of Larsen, WI and Bonnie Zietlow (Robert) of Neenah, WI; his grandchildren, Sarah Mae Crober, Jennifer Billington (Terri), Terry Crober, Bobbie Rieboldt (Jake) and Charles Zietlow; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Sullivan Billington; his siblings, Marvin Schneider (Ruby) of Suring, WI, Ewald Schneider (Donna) of Suamico, WI, Adele Hansen of Green Bay, WI and Audrey Strehlow of Suring, WI; his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Schneider (Leonard Goodrich) and Eleanor Scheer of Appleton, WI; his close friends, Skip, Connie Plisch, Jim, Nancy Steenport, Jerry and Sharon Gifford; his parents-in-law, Hubert and Emma Scheer; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Buchholz (Harley) and Melvin Scheer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He struggled several years with Parkinson's disease.
