He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Pheifer and Pearl Pheifer (Ramaker); and his sisters, Joyce Ficher, Kathryn Votava and Phyllis Bogart.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Richards; his sons, Dave Pheifer (Cindy) of Neenah, WI, Clifford Pheifer (Deborah) of Kaukauna, WI, Mike Pheifer (Mona) of Neenah, WI, Keith Pheifer (Paula) of Boulevard, CA and Curt Pheifer (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jason Pheifer, Shawn Pheifer (Natalie), Justin Pheifer, Jason Lockery, Rebecca Pheifer, Ryan Pheifer (Amber), Ashley Herriges (Luke), Tonya Dansi (Gedeon), Ian Pheifer, Dylan Pheifer, Kyle Pheifer (Leanne), Sara Klepzig (Bryan) and Jana Pheifer; his great grandchildren, Maddison, Lyanna, Jackson of Mason, AJ, Raegann, Peyton, Quinn and Waylon; and his siblings, Bob Pheifer (LaVerne) and Marcia Westwater.

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name.
