He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Monroe Sr. and Naomi Monroe (Winder). He is survived by: his children, Valerie Newson-Hadley, Perry Winder Jr., Anita Winder, Darnice Cooper (Timothy) and Nicole Cudjo (Maxwell); his grandchildren, Csqshundra Cox (Ken), Camellia Edwards, Corey Edwards Jr., Chase Carr, Davvion Storboll, Amari Storboll, Amarion Storball, Dereron Storball, Timothy Cooper Jr., Jelyn White and Jeliyah Stephens; his close friend Sarah Virnig; his siblings, Jake D. Monroe Jr. (La Tonia), Lawrence S. Monroe, Karolyn Graham, Tabatha Monroe, Denise Shinn (Ira) and Katrina Monroe; and also, Matthew, Kristina and Amber Rose. He is also survived by his family and friends.
