He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Severs Sr. and June A. Severs (Morheiser); his stepson Aaron Lee Curboy Jr.; and his aunt Winifred Karls. He is survived by: his wife Gena Severs; his daughter Brandi Ashton (Chas); his grandson Liam Ashton; and his aunt Lorena "Teenie" Wegener. He is also survived by many cousins on both sides, other relatives, and dear friends.
