He was predeceased by: his son Jesse Castro Jr.; and his mother-in-law Ann Downes. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Castro (Downes); his children, April Pellegrini, Roger Daniels, Tammy Hernandez, Geraldine Scarpelli (David), Maryann Castro and Joey Castro; and his siblings-in-law, Patrick Downes, Maggie "Buddy" Krejci, Colleen Gagliardi-Berry and Ann Kaminski (Kevin). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
