It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald R. Scharff (Necedah, Wisconsin), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on July 8, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scharff and Ida Scharff (Banish); and his wife Corinne Boisclair. He is survived by: his children, Thomas (Sharon) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Mary Ellen of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Michelle Byrne (Jeffrey) of Verona, WI, John of Clinton, IL and Therese McNally (Matthew) of Necedah, WI; his grandchildren, Christopher (Rebecca), Michael (Kari), Scott, Eric (Lauren), Samantha Koons (Zack), Steven (Caitlin), Patrick (Michelle), Sean, Mikayla, Andrew, Angelina, Myah and Olivia McNally; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Kate, Emily, Elizabeth Scharff, Eva Scharff and Carver Koons; and his sister Marlene Uhlenkamp of Minneapolis, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has designated House of the Dove Hospice for memorial contributions.
