She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Riordan and Catherine Riordan (Farrell); her husband James Downes Sr.; her son James Downes Jr.; and her grandson Joseph Krejci.

She is survived by: her children, Patrick Downes, Cathy Castro (Jesse), Cindy Sabatino (John), Maggie Krejci, Colleen Gagliardi-Berry, Ann Kaminski (Kevin) and Michael Downes. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
