She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Buchner and Germaine Buchner (Tyson). She is survived by: her husband Gregory Burger; her child Spenser Burger; and her siblings, Vicki Koeppel (Greg), Mary Henricks (Tom), Debbie Bowen (Jim), Richard Buchner (Cindy) and Bonnie Hritz (Ken). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
She volunteered weekly as a group facilitator at St. Camillus Retirement Home, offering hands-on watercolor exploration opportunities for dementia residents, in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Association Memories in the Making program.
