He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb Fitzgerald and Jean Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Betty Fitzgerald, Marge Bednarik, Jim Fitzgerald Sr. and Jerry Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Jill; his daughter Lisa Lamb (Dan Fuerst); his grandsons, Zack and Blake Lamb; his nieces and nephews, Jim Fitzgerald (Janice), Jeff Fitzgerald (Mimi), Dann Fitzgerald (Lisa), Janelle Janz (Jack), Peggy Schmidt (Randy), Mary Bednarik (Shep Crumrine) and Joan Lein (Eric); his siblings-in-law, Robin Olson (Dan) and Randy Pallister (Sue); and also, Michael Pallister and Matthew Braeger (Jessica). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
