Mary Markowski Obituary
Née Dahlgren) Mary F. Markowski passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc. Mary Faith Markowski was born on June 28, 1930 in Pacwaukee, the daughter of George and Mary (Marshall) Dahlgren. She was a graduate of Westfield High School in Westfield, WI. Mary enjoyed gardening, nature, woodworking, giving to others and encouraging everyone to follow their dreams.
Mary was married to Leon Eugene Markowski. She is survived by 2 sons, James (Eleanor) Markowski of North Port, FL, Thomas (Lisa) Markowski of Mass City, MI and daughter Faith (the late Scott) Fechtmeyer; grandchildren, Justin (Tammy) Fechtmeyer, Leah (Adam) Unger, Vincent (Emily) Markowski, Krissy (David) Engen, Larissa Friedman, 10 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leon, daughter Maribeth, sisters Mavis Aleff and Donna Tews and brothers Frank and John Dahlgren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday March 20 at 6 PM with visitation from 4 to 7 PM. Private interment Wood National Cemetery.
