He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Evans and Helen Evans; and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his wife Trudy; his son Christopher Evans (Tamara); his grandson Zachary Evans (Emily); his great grandchildren, Beauden, Alexander Evans (Gracie), Samantha Reinhardt (Brad) and Maddison Evans; his son Matthew Evans (Kelly); his grandchildren, Tyler, Corey, Mia and Alexa; his great grandchild Ameila; his son Adam Evans (Karen); his grandson Noah Evans (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Lily, Caleb Evans (Julia) and Elijah Evans; his siblings, Kerry Evans (Laura), Gina Clark and Blaine Evans; and his extended family, Mark Fuerstenberg (Sherry), Dan Fuerstenberg (Abbie), Kari Barksdale (Mike), Makenna, Tim Fuerstenberg (Katelyn), Roselyn and Edison.
