He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; his children, Debra Baseler (Jeff Kohne), Peggy Guiliani (late Bob) and Scott Schmidt (Melissa); his grandchildren, James Baseler (Maranda), Kelly Gillespie (Jason), Jacob Bolton (Jessica), Caitlin Kranz (Spencer), Sarah Dowe (Michael), Molly Guiliani (Johnny Tate), Valerie Schroeder (Jon) and Adam Schmidt (Payton Zacharias); his great grandchildren, Riley, Timothy, Hannah, Dakota, Lilly, Brielle, Emersyn, Elliott, Bailey, Robbie, Tripp and Jaxon; his siblings, Jerry Schmidt (Pat) and Donald Schmidt; and his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Schmidt, Sandra Stillman (Ron) and Ronald Uttecht. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
