She is survived by: her children, James Gumieny (Jayne) of Cecil, Dennis Gumieny (Wendy) of Wind Lake, Susan Gumieny Prey of Waco, TX, Edward Gumieny (Barb) of Wauwatosa, Douglas Gumieny (Carol) of Mukwonago and Carol Sue Blawat (Jeff) of Elton; her grandchildren, Mina Schwoerer (Rick), Daniel Gumieny (Dawn), Kristin Olsen (Jay), Jennifer Bailey (Mike), Becky Bissing (Jesse), Adam Gumieny, Samantha Terry (Nick), Kim Alvarez (Josh), Tony Gumieny, Annie Gumieny, Benjamin Gumieny (Jennifer), Jessica Klein (Joseph), Paul Moczynski (Hope), Matthew Moczynski (Elizabeth), Ashley Vanier (Rob), Jake Blawat (Amanda), Luke Blawat and Nickolas Blawat; her great grandchildren, Wade, Brooklyn, Colby, Donny, Derek, Kyle, Daniel Jr., Scarlet, Hannah, Ella, Drew, Ryan, Briley, Jase, Hudson, Mason, Theodore, Isaac, Anna, Lily, Elsie, Kayne, Elise, Charlotte, Michael, Edison, Lyla, Bentley and Noah 'Hammy'; and her siblings, Joyce Monroe, Shirley Jackson and Darlene Tewes.
In early 2020, Dorothy moved into assisted living at The Regency in Muskego, where she was safe from the coronavirus. And even though she hated not being able to see her family, besides the regular window visit, she made new friends and became a favorite of the staff.
