She was predeceased by: her husband Carl H. Butz Dear; her parents, Dorothy and John Schmidt; her siblings, Robert, Lawrence (Marilyn), Edward Schmidt, Margaret Furey (Edgar) and Lorraine Schulz (Orlin); and her sibling-in-law Dory Schroeder.
She is survived by: her children, Ronalyn Ibanez (Jaime) and Steven Butz (Debra); her grandchildren, Jacob Butz (Sarah), Jonathan Butz (Sarah), Stefanie Ibanez and James Ibanez; her great grandchildren, Aleena, Kinlee, Gunner, Kilian, Emmett, Wesley and Shane; her siblings, John Schmidt (Carol Ann), Joanne Bartos (Donald), Thomas Schmidt (Kay), Mary Schmidt and Catherine Schmidt; and her sibling-in-law Shirley Masnica. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
