He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Donald and Mary Ann Brandhagen (Wierzba). He is survived by: his wife Karen Schulist (Brandhagen); his children, David, Angela and Callie; his parents, Dorothy Schulist (Shinners) and Richard Schulist; his siblings, David Schulist (Connie), Dee Karleskint (Jim), Denise Olszewski (Ron), Dean Schulist (Cathy), Doreen Treuden (Mark) and Darla Erato (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Judith Brandhagen, Nancy Lehrer (Jaime) and Steve Brandhagen (Dawn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul or the Milwaukee Rescue Mission would be appreciated.
