We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2021, at the age of 56, Catherine Gerrits Terch-Elert of Muskego, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Patrick Gerrits; and her siblings, James Gerrits and Christine Barber. She is survived by: her husband Jon; her children, Alexandra Nowicki (Steve), Patrick Terch (Olivia), Charles Terch (Angela), Clara Smirnov (Dmitriy), Max Elert (Samantha), Nicholas Elert, Johanna Long (Austin), Benjamin Elert (Sarah) and Frank Elert; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Paetyn, Ellie, James, Jacob, Greyson, Grace, Lorelai, Nathan, Amelia, Addison and Theodore; her mother Shirley Gerrits; and her siblings, Ann Newkirk (Don Liedtke), Margaret Przybylka (Tony), Dennis Gerrits (Jane) and Barbara McNally (Dan). She is also survived by other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family will be donated to Boerner Botanical Gardens her favorite place away from home.
