He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Honer and Gladys Honer (Hofseth); his daughter Bonnie Honer; and his brothers, Donald and Douglas Honer.
He is survived by: his uncle James Honer; his wife Brenda of Richland Center; his son Darren Honer of Richland Center; his siblings, Patricia Jewell (Glen) of Plain and Bernard; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Honer of Plain, Diane Cox of Richland Center and Susan DeLap (Barry) of Richland Center. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
