He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kraus and Margaret Kraus (Voitik); his brother Michael Kraus; and his brother-in-law Richard Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kraus (Fries); his children, Robert L. Kraus (Jennifer) and Kathleen Marie Kraus; his grandchildren, D. J. Kraus and Brady Patrick Kraus; his siblings, James Jr. Kraus (Dixie), Margaret Loughman (Bill), Richard Kraus (Carol), William Kraus (Karen), Carol Johnson, Lin De La (Rob), Marlene Garcia and Larry Kraus (Linda); and his sister-in-law Ruth Gilkey (Fries).

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, everyone will be required to wear a face mask at the funeral home and at the church for the safety of the family and all who will be attending.
