He is survived by: his wife Jill; his mother Carolyn Heinz (Ronald); his siblings, Steve (Diane), Ed (Kristy), Kathy Bruesewitz (Rob), Jeanne Spalding (Paul) and Mark (Shelly); his parents-in-law, Paul and Lynn Van Gemert; and his siblings-in-law, Kim Ward (Mark), Gail Van Gemert and Jodi Koepke (Tim). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to C.O.P.S (Concerns of Police Survivors) Kid's Camp, the American Cancer Society, St. James Catholic Church, or St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church, deeply appreciated.
