She was predeceased by: her grandchild Alexander; her husband James P. McElroy; and her sister Rae Puerner. She is survived by: her children, Mary Kathleen Sumner, Cynthia Schaefer, Michael McElroy (Gail) and Patricia McElroy-Komppa (Mark); and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Kim, Christopher, Jennifer, Kerstin and Brianna.
