Lorraine Stanek Obituary

Lorraine (Lorrie) Martha Stanek died peacefully in her sleep at her son Fred's house in Mukwonago, WI on March 14, 2022, aged 96. Lorrie was born to Martha and Henry Umbach on Independence Day, 1925, in Des Plaines, Illinois. She met her husband Ed Stanek while working in Chicago during World War II. They were married on August 17, 1945, and enjoyed 68 years together until Ed's death in 2013. Lorrie was the loving mother of Barbara, Edward (Anne), and Fred (Carrie). Lorrie is survived by her grandchildren Kari Bail (Chris), Kyle Stanek (Lauren), Edward Stanek IV (Jessica), Gabriel Stanek (Lindsey), Hannah Stanek, Heidi Ramos-Stanek (Noemi), Michael Stanek (Sarah), and Samuel Stanek (Mariela). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Amaia Bail, Jasper Bail, Zarina Bail, Bradley Stanek, Kirin Stanek, Brooks Stanek, and Brayden Stanek.
