It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen M. Leonard of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels E. Sandberg and Beatrice E. Sandberg (Bauerfeind); and her brother Karl G. Sandberg. She is survived by: her children, Scott (Kevin Shirley) of Washington, D. C., Susan (Kevin Haag) of Long Lake, Wis and Jon; her grandchildren, Jacob Haag of Mukwonago, Samuel Haag (Alexis) of Mukwonago, Allison Leonard of Mukwonago and Joshua Leonard of Mukwonago; and her great grandchildren, Addisyn, Allisyn and Jordan Haag. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations to AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc, St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mukwonago, or the Literacy Council of Greater Waukesha.
