He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Thiele (Dymond) of Eagle, WI; and his grandparents, Herman, Frances Thiele, William and Linda Dymond.

He is survived by: his father William Thiele (Jean) of Eagle, WI; his son Tanner Thiele of Madison, WI; his sister Monica Keith (Tom) of Denver, CO; and his nieces and nephews, Katy and Collin Keith.
