Jacqueline L. Schmitter Obituary

Of Mukwonago, was born into eternal life on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the age of 83. Jackie was born on March 1, 1939 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Frank and Lylah (nee Odegard) Schemberger.

Jackie attended Milwaukee Lutheran Hospital School of Xray from 1958-1960. Jackie and Bob were united in marriage on August 24, 1962. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2003. She worked in the clinic of Internal Medicine and the Teamsters Medical Clinic in Milwaukee. She was a Band Booster Mom, a West Vernon 4H-Leader, and a longtime member of Vernon EV. Lutheran Church.

Jackie is survived by her children Jenny (Kevin) Ketterhagen, Rob (Theresa) Schmitter and Andy (Reagan) Schmitter; loving grandchildren Brittany (Zeke) Burtard, Taylor (Gabby) Ketterhagen, Austin (Hannah) Ketterhagen, Riley (Hayden Christiansen) & Cole Schmitter; great-grandchildren Kai Burtard and Rory Ketterhagen. She was preceded in death by her brother Frank (Margaret) Schemberger and brother-in-law Paul (Gail) Schmitter.

Visitation will be held at Vernon EV. Lutheran Church on Monday, February 13 from 3:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 5:00 PM. Burial will be held on Tuesday, at 10:00 AM at Vernon Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials can be directed to the church in memory of Jackie.
