He is survived by: his wife Lois Thompson (Kern); his children, Kathi Nitsche (Jeff) of East Troy, Daniel Thompson (Theresa) of Elkhorn, David Thompson of New Berlin and Paul Thompson (Jenny) of Westby; his grandchildren, Micah Nitsche, Alex Nitsche (Erica), Ben Thompson (Jess), Emily Waple (Sean), Kassandra Thompson, Allen Thompson, Nicole Barndt (Bryan), Mandy Patel (Mital), Becki Klenz (Ryan), Jackson Thompson, Lena Thompson and Paul Joseph Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Leah Barndt, Skyler, Neva Nitsche, Landon Waple, Olivia, Eila Thompson, Elliot Patel, Rylie, Leo and Jojo Klenz.
